I have over a 15 years of experience in marketing, I am a National Award Winning, Certified Practising Marketer with the Australian Marketing Institute and I come armed with a degree in Marketing.
Who am I
Hi, I am Kirstin Hams, a highly experienced social media consultant and I have been managing the social media presence of my own business and other businesses for the past 8 years. I have a solid background in business analysis and online webpage creation from my time at both Corporate and Government in Melbourne and Gippsland. I have developed a deep understanding of what drives customer engagement and the importance of a strong online presence for businesses.
Why I am the Marketing person for you
You’re a small business. You need someone who looks after themselves (no HR or Super!), is professional, and can take over all your Marketing. Someone who is a local gal from Gippsland so can look you in the eye, and who knows the hardship of small business so understands your story and how you need to see your dollars working for you! I’m not a large Marketing Agency, I am one person who has your best interests top of mind, and who desperately wants your small business to succeed!
Want to know more about where I came from and my experience?
I began my marketing career in a Corporate position in Collins St in Melbourne, where I gained invaluable knowledge about marketing, sales, and customer understanding. This experience has helped me to develop an eye for detail and a strong customer-centric approach to my work.
However, my most valuable experience to date has been running my own business with my husband, where I have honed my skills in marketing and social media to grow the business successfully for the past decade. My passion for social media has led me to participate in person twice at Social Media Marketing World San Diego, and three times virtually where I have gained a breadth of information on understanding customers, engagement strategies, and building brand loyalty.
I have managed over $50,000 of Meta Advertising and similar amounts in Google advertising, so I come to you with alot of experience in running advertising campaigns that bring back a return on investment.

With my wealth of experience and deep understanding of social media marketing, I can help businesses establish and maintain a strong social media presence and underlying marketing program that drives engagement and growth. I’m looking for long term growth for you. Sustainable, and one that encourages customer loyalty. I am an expert in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising and analytics, as well as strategy. What does this mean? I can look deeply into our business and help you succeed. I can see where your users are coming from. What they are looking at & where the process is falling over.
I am also an experienced speaker and have shared my expertise with various groups of people looking to learn more about social media and how to market their business and understand their results. With my years of experience managing the social media presence of and running my own business, I have a wealth of knowledge to share on the topic.
My knowledge covers a wide range of topics, from understanding your target audience and creating engaging content, to measuring the success of your social media efforts and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends. Canva, Google Analytics, Meta, I can help you understand it all, or better yet, monitor and do it all for you!

I know how hard it is to run Small Businesses, I know how the budget goes up and down, and how every minute counts when it’s your own business. You never turn off, and holidays are still intertwined with business. I’m not someone who will treat you like a large company would – I know the in’s and outs of small businesses and I get it.
